This unit does not record in segments like so many cheap and even more expensive dash cams do. When those cameras are saving a segment they are NOT recording. Some take as long as 4-6 seconds. Why have a dash cam if you are gambling it will be recording when you need it?Buy one that does not record in segments and requires software to view the raw video on a PC No matter where you buy one from.Our camera uses embedded Linux and no reset button is needed, like those less expensive cameras.
